Daniels new love!

Daniel got his bike. He loves the thing more than me. I hope not, but he did stop playing his video game to go look at it and he wont stop playing his video games for me. He is really excited, to bad he has to park outside in the cold now. He is not happy about that. Now that he has to many toys his jeep cannot fit in the garage so he has to park outside and get in a cold car every morning. Here are some pics of his new love.

Snowed In!

Since I am snowed in at home and also sick as a dog, I thought I had some time to put a new post up. This past weekend Daniel and I both did some exciting things with our neice and nephews. Daniel went to the monster truck show with his dad,gary,tye, and wyatt. Daniel said the kids had so much fun and were excited to put on thier new shirts. I took my brother, niece,and oldest nephew to xscape. Which is the new indoor play land at the lafayette square mall. It was really fun! Although the place was packed the kids got to do almost everything they wanted to. They had lots of arcade games, bumper cars, go karts, mini golf, mini bowling, laser tag, the frog ride, and all you can eat buffet. There was an admission fee that included all you can eat pizza, pasta, salad, drinks, and desert. as well as the bounce house and jungle gym. It was fun and I will go back. Here is a pic of the kids on the frog ride. I thought my niece would be scared but she had a blast.


Then on Tuesday I went to the funeral for Anastasia. Our hearts go our to Karen and Louis who lost their baby girl 3 hours after giving birth to her. She was almost 3 months premature and her lungs were not holding oxygen. She is precious.

Today I am at home resting, I have been sick for 3 days and it sucks. This 10 inches of snow wont help much. The snow is taller than Max, poor thing can't even go potty. I had to shovel him a walk way and clear a tree for him. LOL! Daniel went to work, but was on a delay. As of Tuesday he was released to drive again. When he got home tuesday night his ankle was sore. I dont think it will ever get better. Daniel finally got his bike. He went Monday when he was off work to the shop with his dad. His dad is picking it up on thursday. Instead of the 2009 gsxr600 he got the 2008 gsxr750. More power than he needs, but he knows to be safe.Well thats all for now.

Eventfull Weekend

Friday night we went to the movies to see Paul Blart Mall Cop. It was a really funny movie. Even a little love story!

Then on Saturday morning we went to the bridal show downtown at the convention center. It was not very exciting, nothing really to see. We just got a lot of cards and information from people. Then Saturday night we went to Fastimes so Daniel and some friends could go go-karting. They were to fast for me! Daniel was really excited to be able to wear his new helmet, other than around the house.


Then on Sunday we had a suprise 50th birthday party for my dad at Texas Roadhouse. He kind of knew what was going on, but did not expect to see everyone who was there. Here are some pics from the night.

Chuck Wicks!

On Friday morning Daniel heard on Hank FM that they were giving away Chuck Wicks tickets right by our house for his concert at 8 seconds that night. So we both went and picked some up and went to the concert with Jon and Becky. The tickets said show starts at 6, but he did not come on stage until almost 11. It was fun hanging out with our friends and seing the handsome Chuck Wicks.






Also Max has finally made some progress on the huge bone Daniel got him for Christmas! It is cute watching him eat it until he swings it around and hits you in the head with it.

Happy New Year!

Daniel and I brought in the new year at "that place". We really did not feel like going downtown and dealing with the crowds, but we wanted to go and hang out with friends. We rang in 2009 with Seth, Niles, Rachel x2,Glen and his girlfriend. Later Josh and Stephanie showed up. It was good times with a live band and cheap drinks. Today Daniel was experiencing his first symptoms of a hangover. At $3 a mixed drink, he had quite a few. We came home this morning to our sick Maximous. He had thrown up twice while we were gone. He is feeling better now though, back to his mean self. Hope everyone is having a great 2009 so far and we wish you the best for the rest of the year!

Merry Christmas!

On Christmas day we started things off at home. Me and Max got slippers and Daniel got a helmet for his bike he is soon to get and some new movies.


Then we went to Tandy and Darnell's for Christmas breakfast, which was delicious. Tye and Makenzie were so cute in there christmas pj's.




The last place we went was my parents. We celebrated Christmas with my parents, brother, and my sisters clan. It was a good Christmas for all of us this year. Thanks for everything!

Christmas eve!

I started Christmas eve off at work. Then we celebrated Christmas at my grandma's house. It was good this year because everyone was there. A few of my cousins rotate years with their significant others family. But this year I got to see everyone and tell them my exciting news.
