Indy Moto GP!
This weekend was the Indy MotoGP and Daniel was so excited. It was a whole weekend thing with thousands of bikes in downtown indy and at the Speedway. Friday was raining most of the night, but Daniel ended up going out around 10pm and getting home at like 2am. That night I think he just went to the motorcycles on meridian and hung out with his friends. From 7pm-3am they block off meridian st for bikes only access. Then on Saturday he left at like 10:30am went to clean his bike and then headed downtown to check it out. I think he said he drove by the track to see the festivities there. He got home around 3pm and we went downtown at 5pm to watch the stunt show. He dropped me off after the show and dinner around 10pm and he was back out until 2:30am. Then Sunday was the actual race. We headed to track around 11am. Watched all the races. It was pretty cool. I think it is crazy how low they go on the turns and how fast they take them at. We saw a few crashes. The riders slid across the track, but just got back on their bikes and off they went like no big thing. Dangerous Sport! Got home around 5pm and Daniel left for his basketball game. I caught up on laundry and took a little nap. I was wore out. Today is back to work! I have a few pics and a video from the race. I forgot my camera during the stunt show, but took pics on my phone. I will add those pics later.

Packing!
Have not done anything really exciting over the past week. Me and Daniel had a date night last Friday night. He finally realized he does not spend as much time with me as I would like. We were going to go to dinner and putt-putt, but the rain ruined that plan. So we went to dinner downtown at Champs, shopped around a bit at the mall, then we met up with Seth and Bethany and went to Crackers Comedy Club. The rest of the weekend/week I have been packing. I have just about everything packed up that we will not use in the next week or so. The condo looks so bare! Its said, but I am ready to go. Everything has been processed on our loan. Now just waiting for the appraisal to go through underwriting and we will get the good to go on closing. The contract states we will close no later than the 10th. The mtg lady said it could be next week sometime. I am super excited!

Fight Night!
Saturday night we went to 8 second saloon to watch Daniel's friend Josh fight. It was the Legends of Fighting. There were some pretty good fights going down. One guy even got knocked out. No blood, luckily because I don't know how I would have taken such a grusome battle. Josh won his fight! He won by tap out in the first round. I was happy to see that. I was nervous watching someone I know fighting. I am a lover not a fighter. Josh had quite a few fans there to support him. Me, Daniel, Seth, Travis, Kelly, and Scott. But there were also some more friends there for him we did not know. The last picture is actually a video of Josh's fight! Enjoy!

Updates!
Wedding Update:
Everything is going well. The newest update is that the dj is officially booked. Put the deposit down on Commander Ken with Music Mania. We have also been working with a travel agent to get a good deal on our honeymoon. Dan also mentioned having a friend who may get us a deal in Hawaii. We are hopefully getting our passport pics done and applications sent in this weekend. We keep forgeting and soon it will be to late. Other than that just getting idea, not to much more to do this far in advance.
Speaking of weddings. Congrats to Kara (the new member at work)She got married on August 1st. She returned this week from her honeymoon in Flordia. Also we found out earlier this week Kyle (the new agent/old team member)got engaged last Friday and is getting married this February. I told him he cannot steal my date, but I have been sharing all my research with him because they are trying to plan it in 6 months. But seems like his fiance Rebbeca is on a role. She had her dress ordered on Monday and already has the bridemaids dresses picked out and some more. She knows what she wants.
Work Updates:
This week has been pretty busy. Kyle started back in our office. Trying to get everything ready for the official start date of Sep. 1st. That is when we will really take off. For now we are setting apts for customer to come in and meet him and go over all their policies and try and sell some Life so we all get to go on vacation. We also got some new marketing stuff and envelopes and some other stuff that I spent 2 days putting away. Now I am calling everyone to set apts and trying to figure out how to market my target (which is Life). Kyle assigned each team member to a focus aspect of insurance and mine is Life, so I am in charge of all the marketing for and so forth for it. I will also be selling everything else so need to get my folder ready to set out and sell! I feel like it has been forever since I sold a policy. This just sitting around has made me lose focus and I need to get back into the groove of things.
PS: Mom stop stealing all my pictures to make your blog look good!

From One Headache to Another!
Well I was getting a headache from all the house searching with no luck. Now that we have a house the headache is getting everything settled for closing. I can't wait until the house is ours and we can move our stuff in. We had the inspection yesterday. I took the day off work, Daniel had to go in for a few hours. The inspection went well. No major problems, some siding issues, and a trim issue that is causing the shingles on the roof to hang over the side, and the AC needs serviced/charged. Our sit in relator (marcy had bariatric surgery on Thursday so will be out for a week or so) wrote up the inspection response to the seller to request them to have it fixed before closing. We will find out before Monday what they will agree to fix. It is nothing major, but better for them to fix it then us. My mom stopped by during the inspection to check out the house, she really likes it.
After the inspection we met with Ryan our mtg guy and signed all the application paperwork. I have never signed so many paper in my life. Daniel was getting bored. Now that we have the done, they will order the appriasal, the apraiser will go out early next week Ryan said. After that then it will be sent to underwriting. That will take a few days. So in a week or so we should have a set closing date. I can not wait. The sooner the better. I have turned in our notice to our Condos. He is going to prorate September for the days we are there and we should get our deposit back when we leave. Estimated closing is the first week in September and the contract state on or before 9-10. So to have an idea.
After all the house stuff was done it was about 4:30 Daniel went to help Seth start working on his house. Seth has been staying with us because his closing date on his house kept getting pushed back and he had to get out of his apartment because they already rented it to the next leaser. So he is staying in our spare room. He finally closed, but he has a HUD house and it needs quite a bit of work. He was waiting for the electric company to call and say they turned it on, but they decided not to tell him so it has been on for 4 days and he never knew it. He will be working on it this weekend though. He says he will be done by the time we move out, but he may have to move with us! He told Daniel his favorite part about our house was that it was finished. I am so happy we do not have to do anything, just move our stuff in! Anyway I went home to play with Max. We hung outside with the neighbor kids and Max's girlfriend Lucy. He is gonig to miss her when we move. She will have to come over for play dates. Then me and Max went to Dairy Queen. I really wanted a frozen hot chocolate. They even give out free doggy treats. It is a little cup of vanilla ice cream with a dog bone in it. It was so cute and Max loved it. Then off to bed and back to work today!

House Hunting is Over!!! We are officially home buyers!!
On Sunday despite the last heartbreak we headed back out to look for some more houses in the blistering heat. Marcy (our realtor) widen the price range since we bid higher for the last one than we said we would go. It is amazing what a few thousand dollars opens up. We looked at about 7 houses on Sunday. We fell in love with 2 of them and placed offers on both. Niether of them are huds they are acutally both move in ready. We would not have to paint, carpet, or anything. All appliances stay. So unlike the huds these are ready to go and do not need any work. After looking at them all Marcy went home to place our offers and me and daniel went to the train station pizza king to eat. I like that place it is so neat how the train brings out the drinks! It was only our second time there. Well anyway, Marcy gave them both until Monday at 3pm to respond. Well the house we preffered counter offered early this morning. They basically accepted our offer minus the home warranty. Well our lovely realtor did some wealing and dealing and got our first complete offer accepted. WE ARE OFFICALLY HOME BUYERS! After all the headaches and heartbreaks we found the house that is perfect for us. The house is located in Franklin twnsp. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. All brand new carpet, paint, new stainless steal appliances, and a big fenced in back yard for Max. It needs nothing. Just our stuff! We are so excited and will be settled in OUR new home in about a month. Finnally a place we can call our own!Good buy renting hello mortgage.

Brad Paisley Concert!
Saturday night was the Brad Paisley Concert. Daniel does not like him so he gave his ticket to my sister. Then Brian (my brother in law) and Karen (his sister) got tickets and the four of us went up there after the craft fair. We had front row lawn seats, which I guess comes with the drunk crowd who are all in your way. We had drunk people falling on us and Brian almost got into a fight because the people behind us were being so rude and taking over our space. Karen was also getting really mad because she had beer and ice cream spilt on her. Other than the people behind us we had a good time. We beat the traffic out despite the fight that was breaking out in the back of the lawn that Brian wanted to stop and watch.

First Annual Cumberland Arts and Crafts Fair!
On Saturday my old town of Cumberland held their first annual arts and crafts fair. It was on my mothers street. The road was blocked off and set up with booths. Her house is the only one on the street and she did not even know about the festival until Wednesday night. She had planned a yard sale from Thur-Sat. Great timing since there was foot traffic of about a thousand people. The fair was pretty busy. They had the farmer market, craft booths, characture drawings, face painting, food, live entertainment, pony rides, and a moon bounce. My and my nice and nephew headed over there about 10 am. I stayed until it was time to leave for the Brad Paisley concert. It was fun to sit in the sun and try and get a tan and spend some time with the good old family. I still did not sell a single purse! GRRR!

Incredible Pizza Company!
On Friday my niece and oldest nephew spent the night with me. My sister dropped them off at my work right before I left. We went to my house played some wii and picked up Max's girlfriend, because I was babysitting her for the weekend. Then we went to the Incredible Pizza Company. There were lots of games, bumper cars, go karts, black light mini golf, and food. We had a good time. Then we came home and the kids played outside with the neighborhood kids until 11pm. They rode bikes, painted, played basketball, and hide go seek. They had a fun time at Aunt Tabi's house.
