The rest of the weekend!

On Saturday we drove to Connersville for Jimmy and Jera's wedding. It was a beautiful outside ceremony (perfect weather for it). The bridal party all wore sunglasses which made Daniel want to wear them for our wedding, but it won't fit our theme as well. Then the reception was inside. Earlier that day we went shopping so I could find a dress to wear to the wedding. I ended up buying 3 dresses because Daniel insisted I would need them. Daniel also bought me 3 new pairs of heels because he thinks heels are sexy! I would have got 4 pairs but they did not have one in my size. The dress I wore to the wedding matched the wedding colors perfect, which was a qawinkadink because we did not know the colors beforehand. None of my pictures of the wedding party came out, but I did get one good pic of Daniel and his Aunt Amy.

Then on Sunday Daniel went to his dads to work on the brakes on his jeep. I stayed home and cleaned and organized closets. Then when they were done working on the jeep me and max went over and swam. Well Daniel and I swam, Max did not care to much for the water. He did love running loose in the backyard though. Daniel took him into the water to try and get him used to it and he doggie paddled, with Daniel holding him. Then later when I was laying out on the raft, Max would come get on the raft with me and float around. It was cute!

In all it was a fun weekend!

Happy 6th Birthday Adrian!

On June 23 Adrian turned 6 years old. His party was on Friday, but on Tuesday he was upset because nobody was there for his birthday. He did not quite get the concept that his party was in a few days. MawMaw and Patsy went over to keep him company on his birthday though. Then Friday came and he had a party at Southeastway Park. He wanted to have his party there because it was a bigger park than the usually birthday party park across the street from my moms. The kids had fun playing and Max enjoyed being outside. For his birthday I made Adrian a scrapebook from his first year of baseball. I knew he would not be so excited about it, but its the thought and one day he will look back on it and enjoy it. Mom and Dad liked it, escpecially the ESPN magazine cover!

Happy Fathers Day!

Sunday was Fathers Day and we had a cookout at my parents house. It was the usual clan: my parents, my sisters family, and me, then there was my Grandma Sandy, my Grandpa Mike and Francis, and my Aunt Lisa and DeeAndre. The kids were playing in the pool and we just ate, talked, and played a few games of cornhole. It was good to see everyone. I forgot my Dads card at home and came bearing no gifts because he could not think of anything he wanted besides a cactus that my sister got him. I will get him something soon. Happy Fathers Day to all the daddys out there!

Toby Keith Concert

Saturday was the Toby Keith and Trace Adkins concert. Me, Daniel, my mom, my sister, my brother in law, Karen, and Louis all went out to Verizon to enjoy the show and the party before hand. Karen had never been to a concert and did not know what tailgating was. We showed her a good time! We got there a half an hour before they would let us park so we started the party in the CVS parking lot down the street. Then we partied in the lot for a few hours and played cornhole before we went in to get our seats. Everyone was feeling pretty good before we went in. Well not everyone, some of us had to drive. We all had a good time though! Brian, Karen, and Daniel sat down most of the time. Daniel was not feeling good, Brian really does not like country music that much, and Karen was just really hot. Here are some pics from the concert!

Girls Day Out!

Daniel went and picked up his new bike on Saturday. He was so excited the night before he wanted to go to bed at 6pm and so when he woke up it would be like Christmas Day! It is the same exact bike he had before. He got it from a guy in Auburn, Indiana. When his dad and him picked it up it was raining. Then when he got home he took it for a ride and it rained on him. Then it stopped so he went back out and it started pouring on him. He thinks it was jinxed with rain because the other night we were out on it and it started storming. Luckly we were really close to home.

Well, while Daniel was getting his bike I went shopping with 2 of my bridesmaids to find some dresses. Me, my mother, my sister, and soon to be sister in law went up North to find their dresses. The third bridesmaid was out of town and could not come. We went to a few places and I think we settled on one from Davids Bridal. I am the worst Bridezilla because I have no opinion. I wanted the girls to pick them out and I would say yes or no. Everything is starting to come together.

After we were done shopping I took my niece home with me to stay the night because I knew Daniel would be out riding all night. Well it was raining all night so he went out to the bars instead. Me and Ashlynn went shopping, played with bubbles, put together puzzles, painted pictures, rocked out on the drums, and watched Shrek. The next day we went out to lunch and went to Greattimes. At Greattimes we rode bumper boats, attepted to play some golf but she was not really interested in that except for he holes where you hit it in one hole and it comes out another. We played those over and over. Then we went in and played some arcade games and she beat me in some air hockey. It was fun. Then we stopped at the store and bought some water baloons to take to my moms to get the boys. We filled them up at my house and took them to moms. When the boys left and came back we got them. But then she turned on me and joined the boys and got me soaked. It was fun, but we soaked the cornhole area so we could not play anymore. Oh well, the water balloons were fun!

Rascal Flatts 09!

As everyone knows Rascal Flatts is my favorite band. I was excited to see them on Saturday night. I was at my moms for a t-ball game then cook out afterwords. Daniel decided to go golfing with some friends. I knew it would take longer than the hour he said he would be gone. He ended up having to leave at the 13th hole so we could head to the concert. We usually take Olio Rd, but because of the Mt. Comfort airshow there was traffic and roads closed and we ended up getting off course. My tickets said the gates opened at 7pm, but the radio on the way there said 6pm. I was upset because we were not going to be there when the gates opened and I wanted good seats. When we got there the gates were just openeing and we got pretty good seats right in front of the stage. When I was at home waiting on Daniel I found out my neighbor and her friends were going, then later found out some of our other friends decided to come. It was fun to have a group of people there. Jason was trashed before he even got to the concert, and Glen and Daniel soon became the same way. Daniel did not plan on drinking, but ended up really drunk. When we got home he passed out in the empty bathtub. I don't know if the others enojoyed the acutally show or just the party, but I personally enjoyed the show. They were great! Even Darius Rucker who was the opening act did good. I liked him in Hootie, but always enjoy country music better. Daniel did not see him because he was sitting at the trash can with his friends. Here are some pics of the night!

Last T-Ball Game!

My nephew Adrian had his last t-ball game on Saturday. The game prior he had no fans come watch so he was upset and did not play well. So this time he had a lot of friends and family cheering him on. Here are some pics of him playing! The season was OK, but they are voting the coach off because he was coaching two teams at once and taking kids from our team to play in the other when they did not have enough. It was not very organized. Adrian did well though and got the game ball twice!

Following the game we had a cookout at my moms house. It was not planned, but we all just went back there and it turned into a little party. My dad was suppose to take my brother and nephew to the airshow, but got a little pre occupied making a squirell feeder and playin cornhole. There were quite a few people there: me and max, candace, brian, andrian, ashlynn, alden, karen, louis, jasmine, my mom and dad, brother, his new girlfriend (who he just met that day) and his other friend from the neighborhood, richard and lou and they brought their little doggy down to. We were all just haning outside playing cornhole, eating, and the kids were playing in the pool.
