Black Friday!

It is tradition that every year the day after Thanksgiving my sister and I go shopping. Well a few years ago Daniel joined in when he needed a powerwheel for Tye. Well this year my sister backed out on me so it was just Daniel and I. We planned out our stops last night and headed out at 4:30 this morning. Our first stop was Best Buy, where we got a big screen tv to hang in our bedroom. We brought that home dropped it off and then headed to GameStop to get a gift for my nephew. I waited in line for over an hour in that little store. The brat better love his gift. While I was there standing in line Daniel went down the street to Menards, they had a ladder we needed for the house and a gift for my brother in law. So after I was done at Gamestop I had to walk to Menards in the cold. I stopped and got a hot chocolate to keep me warm. When I got there Daniel was still in line. After Menards we headed to Walmart. By this time it was almost 8am. I figured Walmart would be out of the stuff I seen in the ads I wanted, it was mostly toys for our nieces and nephews. They still had everything we wanted. And Daniel found a shop vac for $25 and could not pass that up, so we got that to. After Walmart we came home to rest. Well put up our TV and wrap the gifts we got. Then we ate, sat around a little while and Daniel was ready to go out again. We headed to JCPenny at the mall. They had a steam mop I needed for my floors. I just have not found a mop that works. This one does. We got it for more than half off and I love it. I already cleaned all my floors today. Then we came home and got Max and went to a few pet stores. There is a new store called Moochie and Co. in the mall. We were the only people to take our dog to the mall on balck friday. LOL! Then we went to Petsmart, just needed some food. After that we came home and have been here ever since. It has been a long day and it is almost time for a nap. Needless to say we had a 100% sucess rate on our shopping goals today. Got some good stuff for ourselves and spoiled our nieces and nephews.

Seth is over here now with his new dog, Bella. Her and Max are playing now that they got used to each other. She's a cutie!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy thanksgiving to everyone! Thursday was a good day because we spent it with family. We started the morning off to a bad start, but in the end it all worked out. Our first stop was Connersville, but before we headed that way we were going to take Max to my moms so he was there when we got done. Well my mother has two new kittens and Max and the Cats were not getting along. So we had to drive all the way back home and drop him off before we went to Connersivlle. We still made it there on time, but Daniel only got to see his grandpa for a few mintues. Then we went to Amy and Scotts new house for dinner. The crowd was not as big as usual, but it was good to see everyone. After there we went to my mom and dads for dinner again. Then it was time to head home and catch up on some sleep for the big shopping day!!

while at my moms we tried to take some family pictures for my sister, but the kids were not having it!
somebody is super excited in this picture

Wedding Update!

Well Friday my sister, mother, and nephews came over. We were trying to figure out the centerpieces. With Daniels help we figured out what we were going to do. Now I just have to keep looking for the vases I need. It was suppose to be a wedding planning day, but my moms mind was elsewhere. She has been on the lookout for a new kitten and thats all she can think about. So we went to JoAnn Fabrics to get the inviations, which I ended up taking back because I found the same exact ones cheaper. Then our wedding planning was done for the day and we went searching for kitten. We checked unlce bills, where she saw the one she wanted (a persian) for $600. We passed on that and headed to the human society. She found a fluffy one she wanted and also decided she wanted its cage friend. She did not get them that day though she waited. We actually went back the next day, Daniel wanted to look at dogs and my mom wanted to get her kittens. They only had pitt bulls and I am against that idea so Daniel was mad. My mom foudn out one of her kittens has an a little cold and my dad talked her out of getting them. So from there they headed to the humane society up north and found nothing. So needless to say my mom dropped my dad off and went back to adopt her kittens. She gets to pick them up on Thursday. She is so happy.

Anyway back to wedding stuff. Daniel and I odered our wedding bands. I already had mine picked out and still went with that one. Daniel wanted one with some bling in it, so we was looking around. The lady helping us was not very helpful. Luckily my friend Katie, who used to work at Helzberg walked in to pay her bill and she said I know what you will like. And she was right it looked good on him and it was the favorite. So we got that one. There was the smaller, cheaper version or the bigger, expensive version. Of course Daniel went with the bigger diamonds. He said he spoiled me now was time to spoil himself. Its worth it, he will be wearing it the rest of his life.

H1N1 infected our house!

Well last week Daniel started feeling sick. He held out on Monday and Tuesday and went to work. Then on Wednesday he was still feeling bad so called off and went to the doctor. Come to find out he had H1N1 flu. His doctor said normal flu season was over and his symptoms were of the H1N1. He was given medicine and told not to go back to work until Monday. He did not have the fever, which is the contagious part. So luckily I did not catch it. I disinfected my house though just in case. He is better now and after a five day weekend is back to work!

Weekend Shopping!

On saturday after work and after stopping by the vet I headed to the eastside to go shopping for wedding stuff with my mom. We went to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Walmart, and then to my grandmas to see what she had been working one. We got a lot acomplished that day. We got most of the small things needed for the wedding. We did not get the centerpices though. My dreams were crushed when I found out that the centerpices that I wanted would cost around $500. So we are changing it up just a little to save some money. It will still look good. Just a few more months to go. Things are coming down to the wire and its time to kick it in full gear to get things done on time.

Sunday I went shoping at a few places too. I went to Old Time Pottery to look for vases, hopping they would be cheaper, but they werent. Then I stopped by Toys R Us. Seen an ad for board games at $1.99. I had to go stock up for Christmas. Half the games were actually on my nephews list. Jackpot!

Max's Update!

Well, thankfully Max did not eat a pill. Daniel found it on the floor Saturday afternoon. After spending a fortune at the vet for no reason. Well for half a reason. He is still making that chocking noise. Saturday I took the recording of him making the noise to the vet and after an hour of waiting the vet listened to it and sent me home with some antibiotic and told me to give him some robetesion. I think he is getting better. His girlfriend Lucy came over and spent the day with him on Sunday and he was playing hard. The fence is finally fixed so they were running around out there having a blast.

Max's Vet Visit!

I am about 90% positive that Max ate a birth control pill on Thursday night. That night I called the emergency vet line. They said that he would be ok, just one would have no harm on him. Well then Friday morning he got out of bed and started making this chocking sound. He has made the same sound in the past but not this bad. He then walked back to the bedroom and coward down. We would tell there was something wrong with him. It was not like him. His tummy was real tight. So I took him to the vet. Of course when we get there he is acting fine. I explained to the vet what he had done and the few things we thought may have caused it. The pill, eating rabit poop, ect. Well they had to call the poinson control line about the pill. Turns out that there should be no effects from it on him. So what is causing the chocking sound? Nobody knows. Again I pay a fortune at the vet for them to say keep an eye on him. Everytime this happens. I wish he could just tell me what is wrong. Well Friday he came to work with me. He was fine the rest of the day. Acting normal and eating and everything. Well this morning he got out of bed, made it outside this time and starting making the noise again. I have it recorded on my phone and am heading to the vet when I leave work to let them listen and see what they have to say. Poor thing. I wish there was something I could do for him. I know it has to hurt and may be hard for him to breath. It sounds bad! Hopefully everything will turn out ok.

Sunday Shopping!

Well Saturday night I had a bridesmaid drop out of the wedding with no reasoning. We had plans to go get the dresses on Sunday so it was very hurtful and stresful to me. Sunday my grandma, sister, mom, and tandy came over. My grandma had finished with my dress and I tried it on for the girls. It fits great. Then we went to get the bridesmaids dresses fitted and ordered. Thanks to all the girls for getting together and getting this step marked of my list of things to do. Only 3 months left to get the planning done and with the holidays coming up it will fly by. Its crunch time! A big thanks to my mother for being a team player and not only being the mother of the bride but stepping in to be my bridesmaid at the last minute as well.

Happy Halloween!

Saturday was Halloween. My dad came over to install our new storm door before the trick or treaters came around. After confusion on the first step we got done. It looks great! Then my sister and her clan came over for dinner and trick or treating. We ordered pizza, whcih the kids did not eat much of. We played around the house for a while then got ready to go out and get some candy. After shopping around all morning Daniel and I did not dress up. Next year we will have to start shopping before the day of Halloween and maybe we could come up with something good. The kids went around half the neighborhood with me, my mom, and sister. Then half of them were tired so Daniel took my brother and oldest nephew to the other half of the neighborhood. They all got lots of candy and had fun and that is all that matters. We had lots of trick or treaters come up to our door. It was neat to see all the costumes. Its great to live in a big neighborhood that takes part in holiday activities. After everyone left Daniel and I were going to go out to the bars with friends, but ended up staying at home and watching Halloween. Daniel must have gotten scared because he locked the door in the bedroom when he came to bed!

Pacers vs Heat!

On Friday Daniel and I went to the Pacer game. Daniel went more to see the heat than the Pacers. His favorite player is Dwyane Wade. We were a few rows up from the heats bench, which was cool. Seeing the game from that close to the court was neat. I do not have a favorite NBA team, so either team winning was fine with the both of us. The Heat ending up winning and Daniel got to hear Wades voice. So it was a good night.
