Happy 7th Birthday Adrian!

Wednesday was Adrian's 7th birthday. He decided to have his party at Splash Island (waterpark in plainfield). We had went there once last year and the kids loved it. He had some friends from his baseball team come and the usual family was there. Lu and Tristan came. Everyone had a blast! It was a great day to be in the water, I didnt feel any of that 98 degree weather. I was nice and cool the whole day :)Here are some pics from the day.

Birthdays to come Candace = July 4th. Usual cookout. Brian and Ashlynns = July 11th. Going to St. Paul to swim and cliff dive.

Fathers Day Weekend!

This past weekend was good and bad. It started thursday. I got off work half day and my dad came over to work on my fence. There were gaps at the bottom of the fence. We had temporarily put chickenwire up to block max from getting out. I was tired of looking at it and wanted a more permanent solution. So we got treated wood and painted it white to match the fence. My dad cut it to size and screwed it into the fencing. After a hot day of working outside it was completed. It looks good. Thanks daddy! While me, my dad, and mother were working hard, Daniel was playing hard. He rode out to the casino with Seth. As he went to get up from a chair he got a really sharp pain in his back. He then rode to brownsburg to see Tye's last baseball game. While at the game he fell to his knees in pain. His sister brought him home and Darnell rode his bike back. Thanks Tandy and Darnell! I have recently heard it sparked the "want" for a sportbike from Darnell. He wants to get rid of his cruiser and get a sportbike now. I wish you luck Tandy :) Daniel was bedriden the rest of the night. After alot of screaming and no sleep, we went to the hospital Friday morning. They diagnosed him with severe back spasms, gave him some meds and sent us on our way. He was told not to drive or do anything for that matter. He had to call in work Friday. He felt really bad because he is on vacation this week. He laid in bed/on the couch all day Friday and Saturday. I did everything I could to help him. I got him everything he wanted/needed. It was just too nice out to stay inside so Friday I went grocery shopping. Saturday I went out to my sisters in Brownsburg. We just sat around and talked. I took my niece a copy of the Justin Beieber cd I bought. Yeah I have Beiber Fever!!! We also rode the 4 wheeler for a while. Got a little muddy, but it was fun. Afterwards I went home to check on Daniel and play with Max. But then I left again and went to my moms. We played some cornhole and chatted. Then I called it a night.

Sunday was Fathers Day! Happy Fathers Day to everyone. This year Daniel and I took our fathers skydiving. We both had wanted to go and I knew my dad had been wanting to go and his dad agreed so.. Daniel was not sure he was going to be able to do it. He was still in pain from his back. That morning though we set out. Daniel was just going to go watch. We could not cancel or reschedule because it would have cost us $100, so we decided to go ahead and do it. When we got there Daniel asked the workers what they thought of his conditon. They assured him they would do their best to accomodate. So Daniel got to join us. The 4 of us jumped out a perfectly good airplane. It was so much fun. Everyone had a great time! Daniel was glad he did it because it did not hurt him. We have videos of our jump on the way. Then we all went our seperate ways. Daniel and I headed home for a nap. His back was hurting a little and my tummy was huring a little. After my nap I layed out and read a book. Daniel slept and slept and slept. Then when he woke up we had dinner and went to watch his basketball team get beat. He sadly watched from the sidelines as his 7-1 league came to end with 3 sub in players during the tournament. It was a good weekend, now its back to work. Well for me, Daniel is at home on vacation. His back is starting to feel better. He can actually walk around now. Well until next time.....

GO CUBS!!!

Adrians little league team (the cubs) made it to the chapionship game. The game is this Saturday at noon. I have been to the majority of the games. He is a really good player. Can catch, throw, and hit the ball almost to the fence. The coach believes he is the best on the team. He relies on Adrian alot and I could tell he was nervous come playoffs, but he held up and the Cubies made it. Adrian also made the allstar team. He will be playin in tournaments around Indiana. Way to go Bub!

Oakley's....

As I posted before, Daniel and I got our eyes checked. Although he has superhuman eyes. They did suggest glasses for me. I do not have to wear them all the time. I have a touch a nearsightedness. So I need to wear them when I can't read things to far away and for night time driving. So they came in today. Here they are... Of course they are Oakleys. Thats all we wear in the Pea house!

Indy 500 cornhole tournament!

On Sunday we went to my moms house for a cornhole tournament/cookout. We had 3 cornhole boards set up, 12 people were in the tournament. It was played like a Eurker (not sure how thats spelled) tournament. We used tally cards, nobody had the same partner twice. It was fun. Paid out first, second, and third place. Me and Daniel did not place in the top 3, but we had fun. The kids were playing in the sand box with trucks, and the big kids were out riding bike/skateboards. My dad smoked a turkey and we stopped half way to eat. I enjoyed being outside in the sun, Daniel did not enjoy that part. It was a great day to be outside, a little hot but most of us made it. Brian got a little too hot and had to go in and lay down. We think he had heat stroke. No worries Grandma Sandy stepped in and played his card. I think she did better than he was doing! Other than that, the day went great.
