Painting progress....

So Daniel and I finally started to paint the interior of the house. It has been over a year! Anyway, we started in the office, but after half a wall we decided we suck as painters. Niether of us were very good and Daniel does not have the patience to try. So I do what I always do when I need help or have a questions. I called my momma. So she is painting our house for us. So far she has the office done. It is a burnt orange color. And the living room/dining room is tan and green. Daniel is not very fond of the green, considering it is his least favorite color, but he will get used to it. Here are a few pics of the progress. We, well mom still has lots more rooms to go!

Happy Anniversary and Birthday!

My sister and I threw my parents a "suprise" anniversary party on Saturday night. I quote suprise because my sisters big mouth let out about the party, but at least they did not know any of the details. It took us all day to prepare. We started by picking up everything we had ordered (ballons, subs, ect.) Our lovely Patty made the cakes (one for anniv. and one for moms bday). They turned out great as usual. Anyway then we had to decorate their hotel room. They had rented a hotel down the street from my sister house(where party was). We called and upgraded to the whirlpool room and got their early to decorate with balloons, rose petals, and captain morgan on ice. That part was a big suprise. Then we had to finish all the decoarating at the house. Everything turned out great. My sister was loosing her cool by party time though. She was yelling if you just said hello. She needed a cocktail! Not as many people came as we had hoped, but everyone who did had a good time. We had food, games, bonfire, and music. The parents were drinking and enjoying themselves. We even threw in a little birthday celebration for mom and Tyla (my little brothers girlfriend). It was a great day/night. And no party is complete withoug someone getting sick (my dad, then later brian). We blame it on the meatballs that finally showed up. It took Richard and Lu 4 hours to get there. They kept getting lost. Oh well party went on. Until the next party...... here are the pics from the Party!

Weekend news.....

This past weekend was pretty eventful. I have been sick since Thursday, finally went to the doctor today and got some stronger drugs to help me get better. Anyway. Friday night I stayed home and Daniel went for a short bike ride. Saturday we started to paint the interior of the house finally. We got one wall partially finished and decided we suck at painting. It looked horrible, so we have decided to pay someone to paint for us. Therefore my mother is coming over today to finish the room we started. Lets home she does a better job than us. We are not handy homeowners. Then we had to get some tables and chairs from the church and haul them out to my sisters house for the big shindig this weekend. We are celebrating my parents 25th anniversary. It was suppose to be a big suprise, but my sister does not know how to keep a secret and CANNOT plan a suprise party. So they know a little about what is going on. Hopefully they still enjoy all the hardwork my sister and I have done getting this thing together. After that I had to drop Daniel and Seth off downtown for the UFC fights. I suprised him with tickets a few weeks ago and he was really excited. Before the fights they ate at Fogo De Chow (or whatever that place is called) Well Daniel loved it and said Texas Roadhouse has nothing on this place. And if you know Daniel you know that means alot. Too bad it is so expensive ($50 a plate). After they ate they went to a bar and had a few drinks then went to the fights, drank somemore while there. Then they decided they were going to the bars afterwards. So at 1am he called and said the fights were over they were heading out to a few bars. Thankfully Bethany (seths girlfriend) picked them up at 3:30am. I was suppose to pick them up, but when I left my sisters I left with two of my nieces. Ashlynn and Jasmine (my adopted niece) came to stay the night with me. Prolly was not a good idea since I was sick and really wanted sleep, but I was told they would go to bed by 9pm. It was 11:30 when I finally got to sleep, then Daniel called at 1am. After that I couldnt fall back asleep. At 4am he got home and called cause I had to go unlock the door for him. I finally fell asleep at 5am, but was woke up at 8:10 with the noise of Max and the girls playing. But for lack of sleep Sunday was not to bad. Me and the girls went to watch Daniel play softball, but his game was cancelled cause not enough players showed up. So the girls headed home. And I headed home for rest and the Colts game. After the Colts game Daniel had to go play a few softball games. He is now in a Monday night league, Wednesday night league, Sunday afternoon leauge, and Sunday night league. The guy loves his sports. I stayed home to relax...... Well there is our eventfull weekend update. Until next time.

Happy First Birthday Brody!

Our youngest nephew just turned 1! All Tandy's babies are all grown up now. Tandy's birthday was on Thursday and Brody's birthday was Friday, but the party was Saturday. Lots of family and friends came to help celebrate. Even grandpa Pea came. It was good to see him. We do not get to see him that often, since he lives in Connersville. He stoped by to see our house before we went out to the party. It was also his first time at the Moffitt's house. He was pretty impressed. The party was fun! I think I went a little overboard on the pictures :)
