It's Christmas Time!

We started our Christmas festivities on Saturday night. It was the UPS Christmas party at McQ's bar. It was also Jimmy Mad Dog Mattis's birthday party there the same night. It was good to see everyone, although I do not know many of them. There was only one picture from the night and that was of Poe's wife. She had a good time that night, as did John's wife. LOL!


Then on Sunday, we had Christmas in Connersville.It was good to see my soon to be family again, and I am glad everyone is happy and accepting to Me and Daniels engagement. Daniel's grandma had a special suprise for him. It was a recipe book he had made in the 2cd grade. His recipe was for applesauce. She gave us the 3 apples the recipe called for, but told me the 3 cups of cinnamon and suger were on me. LOL! It was cute. First we stopped by his grandpa's house and then headed over to his grandma's for lunch and the gift exchange.

We are engaged!

Daniel proposed to me on Friday. He had been planning for a couple weeks to do it on that day. He purchased the ring I fell in love with at Helzberg Diamonds on the first of December. I have a friend who works there and we would go in there everytime we were in the mall to look at the ring. Little did I know I had it for most of my trips in there. The little sneak kept it from me. I had no clue it was coming. Daniel had been planning to buy a motorcycle soon and said that his bike comes first, but the ring was next to me all the time. I graduated last week and Daniel said he would take me out the following week for dinner. He waited a week for a different reason then to celebrate my graduation. I got off work Friday, went home and started getting ready for dinner. After I was finished. He said "Is that what you are wearing?" I was like yeah we are just going to olive garden I don't need to dress up. He then said " I think your outfit is missing something". He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I started crying, Of course my answer was yes! I called my mom and was excited to tell her. She was so happy. Then about five minutes after I got off the phone with her she called back and said are you pregnant? The answer is NO. We are just two people in love and ready to make the next step in our lives. Other than that exciting news, Daniel ruined another suprise. I swear you cannot hide anything from him. I had planned to go shopping with my sister last night so Daniel came along. After we bought some gifts we popped my hutch and I had forgot I put a suprise Christmas gift back there for Daniel. He then was currious what it was. Early that day during my lunch I had gone to Best Buy and got him the Rock Band Game so we could jam out. I had wrapped it in my car and was going to leave it there. I did not konw Daniel was going to be going shopping with us so it would be safe back there until I could sneak it in the house. That got ruined and after piecing together conversations he knew what it was. So I went ahead and gave it to him since I got a big gift yesterday too. The game is pretty fun. I am a pretty good guitarist and great singer. Daniel is our bands drummer. LOL!

Grades are up!

Ok now it is official,I am finished with school. The grades have been posted and I got 3 A's and C (in the hard class with the horrible teacher and hardest final ever) for my final semester. I graduated with honors and was listed on the deans list. I believe my final GPA was 3.67. This was the first week I did not have to go to school, does not really feel much different. It will all set in when I walk in May.

Other than that nothin has been going on. Daniel ran a route by himself on Monday. He did not get home until almost 9pm. He found out that he could not do that for a while. His ankle was swollen and he was in a lot of pain. So he is back to helping.

This winter weather stinks! I would much rather have snow than ice on the ground. Max can not even walk outside witout slipping around and falling on his belly. Its funny, but sad at the same time. We have one week until Christmas. Hope everyone is ready! Happy Holidays!

Ashlynns Surgery!

Today my niece Ashlynn had to go to riley to get a lot of dental work done. She had baby bottle gum disease. The poor thing! It was sad seeing her go back, but she was a big girl and went right back blowing her bubbles in the nurses faces. Everything went well. It took about 5 hours and then she was on her way home, wearing some really cute scrubs. My sister, brother in law, his sister, and my mother wasted away the time hanging out with Ronald McDonald and telling stories. Here are some pics!





In other news, Christmas is almost here. I hope everyone is ready. I love this time of year! It gives me a reason to go shopping. And unlike most who's christmas budget went down this year due to the horrible economy, mine went up. I just felt bad because I knew others couldn't afford it so I bought more. I look foward to seeing everyone over the holidays.

Also, I am officially a college graduate. Well lets hope. I took my last final on Thursday night and it was the hardest test I have ever taken. There were 30 questions and I had to answer 25. The week before we had a review and the teacher gave some example questions and then told us one question that was for sure going to be on the test. That one question was number one on the test. I know I got that one right. Then I honestly could not answer the next 29 questions. I had to bullshit my way. This test was worth 50% of my grade too. I think the worst I can do is get a D in the class, which would still pass me to graduate, but I have never had a D in my life and really do not want one now, so lets hope I did better. But anyway, its done, im done, and its time for the real world. YEAH!

Preparing for Christmas!
