The secret is out...
Well we have known for a few weeks now, but it was confirmed yesterday. Daniel and I are expecting our first child. The doctor said I was about 9 weeks and the projected due date is June 1, 2011. We are both really excited!

The new and approved home!
My mom has been painting the rooms one by one for a few weeks now. As of now it is all completed. It looks great! Thanks for all the hard work mom :) The only color some people seem to dislike is the green in the living room. Let us know what you think....

Indianapolis Zoo!!
Sunday Daniel suprised me and asked if I wanted to go to the zoo. Of course!! I had not been all year. I usually go with the kids once a year. Daniel had been wanting to go see the Cheetahs (his favorite animal). It was great weather for it too! We got to see the walrus and the elephants getting fed and we got to feed the Giraffes ourselves. The tortise's were getting it on and Daniel would not stop watching :) The cheetah's were not very active, but at least one of them stood up when the elephants were making noise. The baboons were the most active. The little ones were chasing each other around the whole time. I could have stayed there and watched forever, it was neat. We got to touch the sharks and pet the goats. Daniel was a little hesitant, but he eventually did it. We also seen the merecats. They were neat, most of them were lounging around, but one of them was sitting upright and staring at us. Daniel wants to get one as a pet now! It was nice to actually enjoy the zoo for myself for once without having to worry about the neices and nephews. Great day!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Alden!
My sisters youngest turned 3 on Sunday. We had a little party for him at my mothers house. The theme was suppose to be Tonka trucks/Construction, but my sister could not find the party supplies anywhere so it ended up being Thomas the Train. That is what she gets for waiting till the day before to buy the party supplies. Oh well he still enjoyed it. My sister made his cake. The first time she tried anything so decorated. It turned out really good. I made dirt pudding for the first time. I thought it was a cute recipe and it tied in with the theme because I put little Tonka trucks in it. It looked really cool and everyone like it! The party did not last to long because everyone was in bad moods :(
