hAPPY 16TH bIRTHDAY jEREMY!

On Friday my baby brother turned 16 years old. I found out Thursday night that my parents did not have a party or anything planned for him and when I told Daniel he said that we had to do something for him. So Daniel had the idea to take him shopping at the mall. My brother is really into skateboarding so Daniel told him we would by him a skateboard and give him $100 to shop with. I thought that was a bit much, but Daniel said "I got a car for my 16th birthday". Well I was not as fortuante as him, but we made do and I was grateful for what I got. So we planned to take him shopping Friday after work and school. Daniel and I already had plans to go see Hall Pass, so we told my brother to bring a friend and we would all go see the movie. He chose Tyla of course (his lover girl). So Friday nightt he four of us went to Greenwood mall. First stop was food! Then we went to Zumiez (skateboard store). There my brother got to design his own skateboard. This was his frist professional skateboard and it better be worth the $130 spent on it. He also got a Monster hat. After that we went to Holister. That is where Daniel always gets his clothes and Jeremy always wants to get his clothes. Jeremy got an outfit and Daniel got a few things as well. Then of course we had to stop by my favorite store (body central) to get a few things for myself. I can never walk out of there empty handed! After shopping we went to the movies to see Hall Pass. It was a really funny movies, with parts that I did not expect to see! It was a long night, but we all had fun. I hope my brother enjoyed getting spoiled for the day. He seemed very happy!

On Saturday night we had a small party for him at my parents house. It was just the family and Tyla. We had lots of fun playing "just dance" for the wii. Jeremy won most of the battles. Everyone got in on the fun except Papaw and Tyla, they just sat back and laughed. A big thanks to Patty for gettig a cake done in one day. I told Daniel not to bother you with it, but I guess you were up for the challenge. It looked great and tasted great as well! Hope my brother enjoyed his birthday weekend!

Below are pictures and a few videos from Saturday night!

Happy First Anniversary!

Yesterday was mine and Daniels first anniversary. It is hard to believe we have been married a year. This year just flew by. We celebrated Saturday night. We went to dinner at St. Elmos. The food was great, but we were not impressed by the service. Then we stopped by Family Video and bought a few movies to go home and watch. I fell asleep during the first movie because I am starting to get sick and it sucks. But we had a good dinner and relaxing night in. It was very enojoyable. This past year has been great for the both of us and we look foward to the many years together still to come.

Happy Birthday Daniel and Chyna

Well Daniels birthday was February 17 and our friend Chynas birthday is February 22. So we had a combined party over the weekend for them. The three of us got our nails and toes done on Tuesday and went shopping for a dress for Chyna for the party. Then on Friday we had dinner and headed to Cadilac Ranch and Bartinis to celebrate with a lot of our friends. There was a good turnout. Everyone had a great time putting back a few drinks and dancing the night away. The night ended at the Red Garter. Everyone had a great time and it was nice to spend some time with frieds.

Never Say Never...

Well my niece has the Bieber fever so when his movie came out my sister and I took her and my adopted niece to see it. We went on opening day :) It was crazy. One would have thought we were at his concert. All the teenager girls screaming and chanting his name. I am just glad they were quite during the actual movie. I was really intersted in how he was brought up. He is a very talented and cute boy! I enjoy his music:) It was a good movie and the girls had a blast.

Goodbye Chevy, Hello Dodge!

We sold the trailblazer on Saturday and Daniel picked up his new toy yesterday. As we all know the trailblazer used to be mine, but when I got my new car Daniel sold his Jeep and has been driving the trailblazer. He never really liked it and always complained. Then a dear friend of mine (abby) mentioned that her husband (our friend Nick)had to sell his truck because he was getting shipped to Afganastan and she wasnt going to drive it with the two kids. So I mentioned it to Daniel and he fell in love. So we sold the trailblazer in a week and Daniel got his new truck. I think Nick was a little sad to see it go, but Daniel is very excited to have it. It is a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. It has a 6 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift sitting on 20 inch XD wheels wrapped in 38 inch Mickey Thompson tires. It has a full 3 inch exhaust and it sounds good! The inside has a cd/dvd player with screens built in sunvisors on each side and 2 12s under the back seat. The truck as the works, everything Daniel would want to do to a normal truck if he had gotten one. Thanks Nick and Abby!
