Preparing for Christmas!

We are getting ready for Christmas. There has been lots of shopping and decorating. Max went to see Santa! The picture is below, it is so cute! Hope everyone is having a good holiday season.

Just an update!

Nothing has really been going on. We celebrated the holidays with our families, but I did not take any pictures to put up. My mouth is feeling a lot better until this morning when I had to go to the ortho and get things done and then get the stitches out (but that did not hurt). So now I have more dentist apts. to see whats next with this million dollar mouth of mine. Daniel started back to work today. He was a helper for 4 hrs. Rough! I will be officially finished with school on Dec. 11. I have a few presentations this week and a final on Sunday (during the colts game, which sucks). Then next week one last test. I can not wait to be finished. I will not officially walk and graduate until next may, but I will be done. I am so excited! We got the christmas tree and decorations up in the house. There are even presents under the tree. I love the holidays. Well thats all for now!

Tabetha's Recovery

I got my wisdom teeth taken out on friday morning and it was scary. I have never had to be put out before so when they strapped me down on the bed and put an iv in my arm(also a first for me). I was pretty nervous, but within a few seconds I was out. After they woke me up and put me in the recovery room I started having bad chest pains and they put me on oxygen. Which scared me to death because my biggest fear is to quit breathing in my sleep when I'm sick or something. I thought it was really bad but after a while I was released. I went home and slept for 3 days. Max stayed by my side the whole time. He even protected me when Daniel came in to check up. It was so cute. I was still in some bad pain and had no energy due to only consuming 3 jello packs in 3 days so I stayed home from work on Monday to try and get better. I am back at work now, but still not 100%. Everyone told me that it really is not that bad, but I guess it is for me. It sucked! here are some lovely pics daniel took while I was recovering.

Poor Max!

Max had surgery on Friday to get fixed. He had to be at the vet by 7am so it made for an early day off. We picked him up a little after 1pm. They said everything went well and he did fine. He looked so sad. He was still really druged up and his mouth was soaked with drool. Poor thing! We brought him home and he just laid around all day. The next day he was back to normal though, which was a good and bad thing. It made me feel better, but he is not suppose to be running or jumping around for 10 days and he won't sit still. The vet said to get a cone for him if he kept licking at it, but I refuse to put my dog in a cone because that would just look so sad. So instead I spent the weekend at home with the dog, while Daniel went out with his brother who just returned home from the navy for a couple weeks. An update on Daniel after his surgery: at his last doctors apt. he found out he would be out at least another month. He has started phsyical therapy 3 days a week. He is no longer walking in a boot and things are looking better!

It seems like everyone in the house is having surgery. First daniel, then max, and in two weeks me. I am getting my wisdom teeth removed. I finally manned up and set an apt. to get it done. I have been putting it off for 2 years now, but since I am in pain I decided I better get it done now. So wish me luck!
