Giving Up!
Well bad news on the house bidding. We decided to bid on the bigger of the two houses with a little better of a backyard view. It would have been the second picture in the previous blog. We bid $130,000 with a net value of $123,500. The house went for $123,600. WE WERE OUT BID BY $100 F***ING DOLLARS. Sorry but that just really upsets me and yesterday was a bad day. I would not be as mad if it was by a couple thousand, but only $100. Other bad news is that the other house we were going to bid on, but had to choose one. The top picture of the two in the previous post. That house went for $108,025. We would have offered more than that on it. So had we bid on both and risked loosing our earnest money (if for some reason we would have won both) then we would have a house now. But nope we are still stuck in our condo paying rent. I am so ready to get off the street. Some ghetto kids have moved in and I suspect drug dealing going on. Also there have been people going into the vacant place next to ours. Not sure why, but I do not feel safe anymore. So although I want to give up on this house hunting, we are still on the prowl for our perfect home. As our realtor said things happen for a reason. Well I sure hope there is a good reason!

Weekend Fun!
This past weekend seemed like it lasted a while, which is a good thing. Now it is back to work. Friday night Daniel and I went to Crackers Comedy Club with Seth and Bethany. The comedians were all pretty good. Daniels favorite joke is now when he farts he says "did you here what that asshole said?". And that happens alot. After the show we went to McQ's bar and hung out for a while. Saturday Seth woke Daniel up at 9am and they went golfing. I went shopping and then my parents and brother stoped by to visit. We walked across the street to a garage sale, where I got a hose and reel for $6 (perfect because I was going to Walmart to buy one that day) and my dad and mom bought my niece a bike for $1.50. You can not beat that. It had a basket on the front, training wheels, and a baby carage on the back so she could take her dolls for a ride. So cute! Saturday night Daniel and I went to dinner with his brother, nephew, and mother. She was running a little late, but she was there. It was good! After dinner I babysat Alex (Daniels nephew) while the boys all went out. Was not hard, put on some SpongeBob and he was out! After a night out at the bars and strip club the boys got home at like 3:30am. Whats new! Oh well I was asleep by like 11pm. The next morning Daniel had to take Denny and Alex back to Cicero. Me and Max went over to my parents. I played cornhole. Lost every game untill the end. Then we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. My almost 2 year old nephew is learning to pee outside in the trees. Like papaw like biggen! Max just lounged around and played with the kids. He loves being outside. Too bad my brother lost the the yard leash. He now has to be tied to an extension cord. Not plugged in so he will not get electricuted! LOL! Anyway it was good times. It is alike an every Sunday thing we do now pretty much. Oh and on Saturday we put our offer in the house we liked. We bid $130,000 which would give hud a net of $123,500 after closing costs and realator fees. It was listed at $90,000 so lets hope that is enough to get it. We will know today around 3pm so I will keep you posted. Keep your fingers crossed. Well that was the weekend now I am back to work so enjoy! Sorry there are no pics my camera battery was dead!

Updates!
House hunting updates:
Well we have kinda given up on the home we like on Governors Pointe. We have been waiting months to hear about it. It you are not aware we had bid on the home and then it got sold to a sherriff sale. So now if we still want it we have to wait a few months to see it listed on hud and bid on it again. The listing agent and BOA have just been dragging us along saying they will get it back. Luckily we have not missed out on anything else while waiting on a response. The good news is that we found two house yesterday that we want to bid on. They are both huds and are in the same neighborhood, Southern Dunes. Both bid deadlines are 8/2 so we will know on Monday if we got one. The bad news is that we can only bid on one or the other. We were hoping to bid on both to have a better chance of at least getting one. Now we have to decide which one we like better. Our fingers are crossed!

Wedding Updates:
Wedding plans are coming along. My dress is in, we have the ceremony site and the reception site booked. We have decided on the bridesmaids dresses. Just waiting on one of the girls, no names,(katie) to go see it. I am sure that is the one though. The flower girl dresses are bought. The flowers are all bought still trying to decide on centerpieces, but the bouqets and boutineares are done. I am probably booking the dj this week. We found a good deal on one. I found my thank you notes on sale the other day so stocked up on those. Started working on the honeymoon planning. We have a travel agent working on some package deals for us. First choice Hawaii for me and Aruba for daniel. Cheaper choices are Miami and San Diego. So we don't know where we will end up. Need to get passports in case we do go out of the country though. Always working on addresses! We have the photographer and cake maker! Thanks Patty! I have been looking for cake ideas online. My mom found her dress and my grandma already altered it for her, so she is ready to go. Things are coming along!
Work Updates:
Well in a few weeks the new agent will be in my office and its back to work. He starts officially September 1st, but will be here full time in a few weeks and we are going to start setting appointments and getting some life sales set up. We have a goal to write 80 life applications in 4 months. If we reach the goal me and daniel get a free trip to Flordia. So if anyone out there needs life insurance or knows anyone send them my way! One of the new girls started a few weeks ago. She is really nice and is working on getting licensed. She is taking her p/s test today actually. She is also getting married on Saturday, so we have a lot to talk about. I enjoy having company in the office other than Max.
Daniel is still not fully recovered from his ankle injury. At his last doctors apt they said to ease back into work, but there is no way to ease back into driving a route so he has just been helping other drivers. I think he has gone out on a few routes alone. Things are getting better!

George Strait Concert!
On Friday night me and my sister went to the George Straight Concert. Not a huge fan, but he is a legend and he sounded great in concert. He has 61 number one hits. They compared him to Elvis Presley. Although he is not a great entertainer he is a great singer and the concert was good. Opening for him was Julianne Hough and Blake Shelton. Jullianne was good and Blake was drunk, but did a great job. Also on stage during George's performance was Payton Manning hiding behind a speaker. We had a good time, despite getting ripped off by the beer man. We even saw a hott cowboy. The keyboard player for Blake Shelton. He looks like a young Kenny!

Max's Date Night
For those of you who do not know Max has himself a girlfriend. Lucy is a maltipoo that lives on the street. He gets so excited everytime he sees her, even if you just say her name. When they are both outside they always just roll around and well try and hump each other, but Max is fixed so no puppies. They are so cute together and play well. On Saturday night Donna, Lucy's mom was going out and asked me to let her out a few times so she was at home the whole time alone. We went outside a few times and Lucy came over to our house to visit for a while. It was so cute they were just wrestling on the couch, they would eat and drink together. The only problem was when they both wanted to eat the same bone. Here are some pics of Max and his girlfriend, Lucy!
